BBQ Pulled Pork

Season a pork roast with:

salt

pepper

garlic powder

ground cloves

Put in a crock pot.

Add:

1/3 c water for boneless, 1/4 c water for bone-in

Cook until meat thermometer tests done, check crockpot book for approximate time.

Break roast apart so it has a stringy/ shaved appearance.

Add:

sweet pickle relish, 2-3 oz

honey BBQ sauce, 2-3 JARS

Pork should be well covered.

Cook a few more hours.

Serve (from crockpot) on kaiser rolls.

To make without crock pot:

Season roast the same, put in a pot with 1 c water & cook until it falls apart, 3-5 hours, depending on the size.

Continue as above.

NOTES

  • I love how it can be made in advance. I make it a day or 2 before. The day of the party, put it in the crockpot on low & you’re done. – Michelle
