
From the kitchen of Kathy Fitch
In a hot frying pan:
2 Tbsp oil
4 boneless pork chops
Brown the pork chops.
Place the pork chops in a baking dish.
Set aside.
Add to the oil in the frying pan:
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped green pepper
Sauté.
Add:
16 oz can Hunts Tomato Sauce
3/4 c water
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1//4 tsp pepper
Bring to a simmer.
Sprinkle over the pork chops:
1/2 c uncooked rice
the pepper & onion mixture
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake @ 375 for one hour.
NOTES
- The first time we tried this Jim and I really liked it. I passed it on to a couple of my sisters and they also liked it. I’m not sure where it originally came from- I found the handwritten recipe in my recipe box. Enjoy!
