Mix:
1 c corn meal
1/4 c flour
diced Jalapeno peppers
1/2 tsp pepper
1 egg
1/2 diced onion
1/2 can beer or 6 oz milk
1/4 c creamed corn
1 tsp baking powder
In a deep fryer or pot heat 2-3″ oil.
Using a wet spoon, scoop 1″ balls of dough and carefully drop into hot oil.
Turn to evenly brown.
