From the kitchen of Kay Putano
Prepare 2 lb ground meat same as for regular meatballs. See below.
Filling:
8 slices Italian salami, chopped
4 slices American cheese, chopped
2 slices provolone cheese, chopped
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
Mix together.
Flatten a ball of prepared meatball meat.
Put a little filling in the center.
Shape into meatballs.
Dip meatballs in:
2 eggs, beaten
Then dip in:
bread crumbs
Put a little crisco in a baking dish.
Put meatballs in the baking dish.
Bake @ 350.
When browned, turn over & bake until done, about 45 minutes in all.
