
Combine:
1 1/4 c flour
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Add:
3/4 c milk
3 Tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp vanilla
Stir until smooth.
Add:
1 c semi sweet chocolate chips
Spread into an 8×8 baking dish.
In a separate bowl, whisk together:
/4 c sugar
1/4 c cocoa
Gradually stir in:
1 3/4 c boiling water
1 tsp vanilla
Carefully pour evenly over batter.
Bake @ 350, 30-35 minutes or until a tester/ toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
Cool 15 minutes.
Spoon into dessert dish & sprinkle with confectioner sugar
Makes 8 servings
NOTES
- This recipe was handed out at a Pampered Chef party. The brownie raises to the top while a rich chocolate pudding sinks to the bottom. Serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
