From the kitchen of Diomira Putano
In a saucepan, mix:
1 c sugar
1 c water
Stir to dissolve sugar.
Bring to a boil.
Add:
12 oz pckg cranberries, fresh or frozen
Return to boil.
Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Cool completely at room temperature.
Refrigerate.
Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
