From the kitchen of Stephanie Knewasser
Beat until creamy:
1/2 c crisco
1/2 c butter
1 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c sugar
Add:
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Add:
1 1/2 c + 2 Tbsps flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Stir in:
3 c oats
3/4 – 1c raisins or chocolate chips
Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake @ 350, 13-14 minutes or golden.
Cool 1 minute.
Remove to wire rack.
NOTES
- Sometimes I add 3 Tbsp chia seeds to these for a nutritional boost.
