Peaches & Cream French Toast

From the kitchen of Marlene Knewasser

3 eggs, beaten

3 Tbsp peach preserves

3/4 c half n half

Place 6 slices of french bread, 1/2″ thick into a 11×7 baking dish.

Pour egg mixture over top.

Cover & refrigerate a few hours or overnight.

Melt some butter in a frying pan.

Fry the bread until golden brown.

Serve on plates with a ladle of sauce on top of each serving.

Sauce:

In a pan:

1/3 c peach preserves

1/2 c butter

2 c fresh sliced peaches

4 Tbsp confectioners sugar

Stir.

Ready when warmed through.
