From the kitchen of Kate Bencker
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat:
1 bunch cilantro leaves, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 c honey (I used about 1 c & it was good)
juice from one lime
Heat until the honey is easily stirred, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, and let cool slightly.
Place in a glass baking dish:
4 salmon steaks
Season with salt and pepper.
Pour marinade over salmon.
Refrigerate 10 minutes.
Bake @ 450 for 15 minutes.
NOTES
- This is so good! The original recipe was for the grill, but I bake it. I’ve also used less honey (just because I didn’t have much). It’s the best salmon I’ve had thus far.
