
From the kitchen of Chris Lohman
Put in a blender:
8 oz orange juice with calcium
1 banana
Blend.
Add:
5 strawberries
10 raspberries, blackberries or grapes
Blend.
Add:
2 squirts of honey
1/3 block of Silken Tofu (for protein)
Blend.
Add: Ice (3 cubes)
Blend.
Makes 2 12 oz smoothies.
NOTES:
I don’t like tofu, but in this recipe it is really good. You can’t taste it & it adds valuable protein to the smoothie and thickens it up nicely. My favorite way to start the day. Frozen fruit can be subbed for fresh. – Chris
