
From the kitchen of Kay Putano
In a saucepan:
2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1/2 c milk
Bring to a rapid boil for 1 1/2 minute.
Remove from heat.
Add:
3 c oats
3/4 c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
Mix well.
Wait a minute or two so they won’t spread so much.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
If it spreads too much, wait another minute.
Let set. Keep refrigerated.
They freeze well.
